The company was formed in 1998 after Dorothy Blane and Lorna Mackenzie decided that an independent travel agency was what Kilmarnock town required. Carrying with them a total of 65 years of experience in travel coupled with ABTA bonding, the foundations were set for Blane Travel and the local approach to global travel was restored. The combination of this experience together with the friendly , local no pressure approach to sales is why Blane Travel are such a successful company.
