90% of services operated last week, despite adverse operating conditions ...
SPAA Associate airline bmi has reported operating a 90% complete schedule - all services - last week, at the height of the weather-related disruption in and around the UK.
Yesterday (Wednesday), the airline operated a completely normal Anglo-Scottish schedule, with the exception of one rotation each between London Heathrow and Glasgow / Edinburgh; and two rotations between LHR and Aberdeen (with the second, a cancellation northbound and an additional stop in Manchester southbound).
Commented bmi's Business Sales Manager Fiona Henderson, 'Yesterday's operation equates to 83% for Edinburgh and Glasgow combined ... re-inforcing our commitment to delivering a high quality service to our customers, despite the odds.'
SPAA Air Convenor Kevin Thom has praised the SPAA Associate partner for its efforts on its Anglo-Scottish routes, 'in the most challenging of operational circumstances.'
