SPAA LAUNCHES MEMBER SURVEY PROGRAMME


The SPAA has launched a new programme of electronic Member surveys, designed to augment the Association's drive towards much better and clearer communication - both internal and external.

Ebroadcast to 70+ travel agent Member representatives this week, the first survey's tracking is already showing a much higher than average open, click and respond rate than the reported average for travel-related surveys, and in due course, SPAA President Brian Potter will release an Executive Summary of the findings of the Association's first foray into regular sampling of Member sentiment and experience.

Survey questions involve 'current' subjects, such as online sales, dynamic packaging levels, the British Airways staff dispute and the new Drop-off charges at EDI and BFS airports.

Comments Brian Potter, 'Why do we need surveys? In essence, to assist our Members in supporting and growing their businesses. Having current and accurate - but discreet - intelligence to share with the media, on the frequent occasions when we are approached, enhances the SPAA's profile, not only within the travel sector, but also with the public and Government. Hence, we can represent our Members' interests all the more effectively!'
